Well here I am, another chapter in my life about to begin... I finished up my year at MWSB and my summer working on summer staff there. This last year has been such a great growing experience for me! God broke me down and built me back up again. He has done some amazing things in my life, one of the greatest was that He brought a great guy into my life. I always thought it was cheesy when married couples said they met at Bible school, but now it happened to me and I am so thankful it happened there!!! So many things happened at school and over the last year...where to begin? Well, everyone went on a 5 day backpacking trip in the Bob Marshall Wilderness the third week of school as one of our classes. Don't worry, we didn't all go on the same trip...there were about 6 different trips to choose from. I went on the shortest one with the cooks because of my knee. It was definitely a memorable experience! One of the things I love most about the school is that we all become a family and we are there for each other. There were many lessons learned, laughs, tears, and most of all, good friends made. After spending almost an entire year in the beautiful mountains of Montana, I am back at home getting ready to become a private music teacher. God is so good!!! He has blessed me with way more students than I will be able to take on. He has also blessed our family with two more nieces/nephews on the way!!! My oldest brother and his wife are expecting their 8th, and my next oldest brother and his wife are expecting their 2nd! I am beyond excited to have more babies around! My youngest niece turned 1 today and is already walking everywhere. It's so fun to see all the little ones growing up, but also sad because the years are slipping by and going faster and faster each year. My oldest nephew will be 13 soon...13!!! Where did the time go?!?!?
Holidays are beginning to approach. I got to spend this last weekend (well ok, it was more than just the weekend) with my amazing boyfriend and his family. We had such a great time! I am so blessed to be able to call him my boyfriend. Words can not even come close to explaining how blessed I am to have him as a friend.
School is starting and it feels weird to not be in school or getting anything for school...but a good weird. :) I am going to be a private music teacher! I have taught my nephews and a few friends over the last couple years, but now I am going all out and I already have way more than I can handle! I think, when it's all said and done, I will end up with about 30-35 students. That's a lot!!! I am going to try to squeeze them all into three days so I have 4-day weekends with the ability to travel (mainly to my boyfriend). I am dreading it, but also excited to start this journey! I pray that God will give me the ability and the patience and the love necessary for teaching. I am doing both violin and piano this year. I am a little nervous but also excited to start this new adventure. I love kids, so I pray that it goes well!!!
