Five gone, one left...

Five gone: We just had Wesley's graduation open house today (the fifth out of six)...  I must say, I am very tired after it! I have only three more years left of school! I just finished ninth grade on Wednesday!!!  Summer vacation is here!!!  (and if you hadn't noticed before, I really like to use threes... see?)   We had a busy house today; getting ready for church, church, lunch, setting up quickly, visiting with about a 100 people, having supper with some friends. It doesn't sound very busy, more like an ordinary busy day, but it certainly wasn't for us!!!  It will be very quiet this fall, with Wesley done, I am the only one left... He will be going off to college...   Somehow, I can't picture him going to college.
One left: I am the youngest of six, four boys and two girls. My sister and I are the oldest and youngest. We are the 'bookends' for four 'books'!!!  Even though there is a large age gap between us, we are very close. I have three years of schooling left before I graduate from high school, although, today, Mom was saying she might flunk me to keep me here a few more years!!!

YAY!!! I got it!!!    Pic: I was walking past the Tulips and saw how pretty they were, so I couldn't resist taking some pics.

The Joy Of Being An Aunt...

For those of you that don't know...I have four nieces and four nephews... The Oldest is 8 and the youngest is 1 1/2 months...  I should say that it is; boy; 8, boy; 6, girl;5, girl; 5, girl; 4, girl; 3, boy; 2, and boy; 1 1/2 months...  I have 4 older brothers and 1 older sister. My sister and I are the youngest and the oldest, so we like to say that we are the 'bookends' for four 'books'!  Only my sister and two oldest brothers are married, one just last summer!, and only the two oldest have children. My sister has two girls and one boy (5, 4, 1 1/2 months) and my oldest brother has 3 boys and 2 girls (8, 6, 5, 3, 2). I visit my sister quite often to help with the children...And it is always such a joy!  I LOVE BEING AN AUNTIE!!!!
